The MSc study is split into three carousels; each full of exciting modules (at least from my perspective!). It’s also a nice blend of technology and management (practicality).
What are these modules and carousels? You can find the details on the University’s web site; but in short, here they are:
I’m really looking forwards to all those four modules; perhaps a bit daunted by the foundation of quantum mechanics module – 7 weeks feels an awfully short time to cover what I feel is a lot if wierdness, but I hope it’s fun! Then I really look forwards to the world of qubits and understanding more on quantum computing…
The 2nd carousel feels useful but has yet to spark my interest as much as carousel one (mostly as my background is as a computer scientist not physicist) except for the quantum networks module, that feels useful to me; and the materials module feels interesting. Ok, now I start writing this, the other two modules peak my interest too!
Finally it’s the project aspect – I’m all ears and eyes open to wonder what I will do for the project….
