Week 3: Probabilistic nature of the measurement in Quantum Mechanics

We’re hurtling into week 3! Now we’re looking at the three postulates of quantum mechanics that deal with measurement:

  • Postulate 3: measurement in quantum physics
  • Postulate 4: the probabilistic nature of the outcome of measurement
  • Postulate 5: collapse of the wave function

Here’s the objectives of the week:

From pop-science reading I’ve heard of wave collapse vs multi-world interpretations. It’s going to be fun week!

Follow along with me as I learn quantum mechanics and its applications…

Stay in the loop with everything I’m learning
